Installation precautions for low-temperature safety valves
Date:2023-04-12
Low temperature safety valves are often used to control media that are harmful to human health. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure good airtightness of the valve. During installation, the parts of the valve should be checked for looseness or lack, and strength and accuracy, sealing and leakage tests should be conducted.
Before installing the low-temperature valve, the pipeline and valve should be cleaned to remove impurities and grease. It can also be done according to the cleanliness requirements proposed by the user, and some lubricants should be added to the low-temperature valve. However, pay attention to the taboos of the working medium to avoid accidents.
The installation site of low-temperature valves should also be carefully considered, ensuring the safety of installation personnel and equipment, so as to facilitate operation and implementation.
The installation personnel should pay attention to the flange axis of the low-temperature valve and pipeline connection, and ensure that the flange connecting plate and the cold box are kept in a flexible connection as much as possible.
When the medium inside the system is liquid, the valve stem of the low-temperature valve should be installed upwards. This way, after the valve is closed, the residual liquid in the valve chamber will not cause abnormal pressure increase, and the gate can also be opened normally. In addition, the valve stem of the low-pressure valve should be extended.
